CargoBeacon Track is an innovative web application designed to track and manage assets across various of industries.
It features a clear, map-based interface for real-time asset viewing, making it easy to see where everything is located.Users can easily manage details of each asset, customize their appearance on the map, and control who has access to this information.The application  includes helpful tools for setting up alerts, managing large networks, and creating special zones for more detailed tracking.It can easily integrate with other systems for deeper BI analysis and comes with an AI assistant for guidance.

CB Track - Concepts and Overview 

Live View

Live View in CB track provides a overview of all your tracked assets, offering asset last location. This dynamic map interface allows you to visualize the movement of assets across your facilities or job sites, helping you make informed decisions quickly and effectively.

Key Features

• Interactive Map
  • The main section of the interface displays an interactive map that shows the last known positions of all assets. Each asset is represented by a pin, and hovering over a pin reveals the asset’s name and last update time. Pin colors are linked to specific asset types, making it easier to differentiate between different categories of assets.
• Advanced Search & Filters
  • Located at the top of the screen, this feature allows users to filter and search for specific assets by:
    • Tags, Anchors, and Gateways (Sinks)
    • Asset Types: Filter by different asset categories, making it easier to find what you're looking for.
    • Metadata: Filter assets based on custom metadata linked to each asset, offering a powerful way to narrow down your view to only the most relevant data.
• Asset List
  • On the left panel, you’ll see a complete list of all tracked assets. Each asset includes its name, type, and the time of the last recorded update, providing an overview of all assets in the system.
• Asset Details
  • When selecting an asset from the map or the list, detailed information about the asset is displayed on the right panel. This includes:
    • Asset Name and Update time
    • Location Data: Geolocation coordinates and the zone in which the asset is located.
    • Asset Details: Information such as asset type, dimensions, and status.
    • Tag Details: Specific details about the tag attached to the asset, including tag type, ID, and last update time.
    • Latest Sensor Values: Recent sensor data, such as temperature, voltage, and other available measurements.
• Manage Asset
  • Located at the bottom right of the details panel, the Manage Asset button allows users to dive deeper into the asset’s history. 
  • Edit: Modify the asset's name, type, and tag ID. You can also upload an image and files to associate with the asset.
  • Journeys: View the movement history of the asset, tracking where it has been and analyzing routes over time.
  • Sensor Data: Review historical sensor data such as temperature, humidity, and voltage to monitor asset conditions.
  • Utilization: Track how much the asset has been moving, providing insights into usage intensity.
• AI - Asset Insider
  • Asset Insider chatbot is designed to simplify every aspect of asset management. It connects directly to your asset data, providing real-time support for tracking, device setup, and answering asset-related questions. 
  • Guidance: Asset Insider guides you through each step, from setting up devices to troubleshooting, ensuring you maximize your asset management potential.
  • Instant Information: Access real-time updates on asset locations, conditions, and system statuses. Whether you need tracking information or data insights, Asset Insider delivers it instantly.

Assets

The Asset Section is your central hub for managing all tracked assets within the CB Track system. From adding new assets to configuring their types, tags, and icons, this section provides all the tools you need to effectively monitor and control your assets.

• Assets
  • This subsection allows you to view, add, and manage individual assets within your system. You can:
    • Add New Assets: Input asset details such as name, type, and assosiate tag ID.
    • Assets List: Shows an overview of all assets being tracked within the CB Track system. 
    • Manage Existing Assets: Delete or Edit asset details,
• Asset Types
  • Define and categorize your assets by type, making it easier to organize and filter assets within the system. You can:
    • Create and Manage Asset Types: Define categories for your assets, such as vehicles, tools, machines, or sensors. 
    • Add Custom Metadata: Assign custom metadata fields to each asset type. This could include fields like asset serial numbers, model, etc
    • Color Assignment: Select the color associated with each asset type. This color will be displayed on the Live View map.
    • Icon Selection: Choose or upload an icon to represent each asset type
• Tags
  • Tags are crucial for identifying and tracking assets. This subsection allows you to:
    • Add or Update Tags: Assign unique tags to assets for tracking purposes.
    • Tag List: Shows an overview of all tags being tracked within the CB Track system.
    • Manage Tag Information: Edit tag details and review tag status, ensuring that each asset is properly monitored
• Icons
  • Assign specific icons to your asset types for easier visual identification on the Live View map.
    • Icon Library: Access our icon library, which includes a wide range of predefined icons that you can assign to different asset types.
    • Select or Upload Icons: Choose icons from the library or upload your own custom icons to represent different asset types, 
• Gateways
  • The Gateway section provides a complete list of all gateways in your system, from stationary gateways to mobile gateways
    • List of Gateways: View a detailed list of all gateways in the system, 
    • Edit Gateway Names: Customize gateway names to make them more recognizable
    • Delete Gateways: Remove obsolete or inactive gateways from the system

User Management

User Management in CB Track gives administrators full control over user access and permissions, ensuring each team member has the right level of access to manage relevant assets. Easily invite colleagues, assign roles, and organize departments for efficient collaboration and security.

The Triggers & Events feature in CB Track allows you to automate actions and receive  alerts based on predefined conditions. By combining Triggers & Events with Zones and sensor data monitoring, you can ensure you're always informed when assets move or experience changes in key conditions.

  • Set up triggers based on specific conditions, such as an asset entering or leaving a Zone (geo-fenced area), or when a sensor reading crosses a threshold.
• Automated Alerts
  • Automatically receive alerts via email or SMS when a trigger is activated, ensuring you can respond to important events in real time.
• Zones
  • Define Zones by drawing polygons directly on the map to represent areas like warehouses, loading docks, or construction sites. Each zone is assigned a unique color and name for easy identification and visualization on the Live View map. This allows you to quickly see where assets are located and track their movements across predefined zones in real time
• Zone-in-Zone Concept
  • Organize your locations with hierarchical zones. Create top-level zones (e.g., sities or departments), and break them down into smaller subzones

Mesh

The Mesh section in CB Track provides advanced tools to manage and plan your Wirepas mesh network, ensuring connectivity between your devices and nodes. This section allows you to efficiently manage node placement, monitor network performance, and visualize your building layouts for better node planning and optimization.
