The Challenge

Industrial paint shops are among the harshest environments for electronics. Batches travel through chemical baths, solvents, spray coating, and ovens reaching 200°C — cycles repeated hundreds of times.

Solvents and cleaning chemicals dissolve standard enclosures
Temperature cycles: room temp → 200°C oven → cooling → repeat
Tags must survive hundreds of cycles without degradation
Standard commercial tags fail within days in this environment
Reading through repeated layers of paint is required
Need to identify which batch is on which rack through the entire process
